Baptism... and Birthday!

Elizabeth reached the grand age of one in March, and celebrated her birthday on the same day as her baptism into the Catholic Church.

Now, we travel so much that we don't really have a parish in the UK (and we didn't think you lot would come over to Indonesia), so we asked Father Peter, the intrepid priest who married us in Aberdeen, and he agreed to baptise Elizabeth in his parish of Lingfield.

Many thanks to everyone who managed to come to Lingfield for the day - we hope you all had a good time! Elizabeth would like to thank Alf, her genuinely Italian God-father, and Marion, her God-mum-mum. A special thank you also goes to Father Peter (of course!) and Jean Seaton (Marion's mum and therefore Elizabeth's God-grand-mum-mum) for doing the cakes.
